Our CBD oil for sleep that contains melatonin won the award, but since then, we’ve also launched a softgel version of the product. Which one to choose?

The CBD tincture combines available with 500 mg and 1500 mg of CBD and with 150 mg of melatonin per bottle. It acts quicker than the softgel if you take it under the tongue and swallow, which absorbs directly through the membrane. And by that method, it only takes about 30 minutes to feel the effects, whereas it could take an hour or two if you swallow the CBD oil or a softgel.

The softgels come available with 500 mg, 1000 mg and 1500 mg of CBD combined with 90 mg of melatonin per bottle, so the product you choose depends on what ratio of CBD and melatonin you prefer. The softgels don’t run the risk of spilling, are easy to take, and may be the right sleep aid for traveling with CBD.

The taste is another factor to consider. Our CBD oil for sleep comes in a refreshing mint flavor – which can go nicely in a cup of tea – and a blast of berry, which can easily be taken directly from the tincture. The softgels have no added flavoring, however. Finally, if you’re vegetarian or vegan, you’ll want to use the CBD oil tincture.
