Born in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico, Rodriguez began training in Taekwondo at the young age of five. In 2011, when he was just 19-years-old, he would go on to make his professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) debut in Mexico and won by unanimous decision.
Three years later in May 2014, Rodriguez announced he would be entering the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and would also be appearing on the show The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America, fighting for “Team Velasquez.”
He made is official UFC debut the following November on The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America, facing Leonardo Morales in the featherweight division. He was named tournament champion via unanimous decision. Rodriguez went on to fight Dan Hooker, Andre Fili, Alex Caceres, B.J. Penn, and Frankie Edgar, losing only to Edgar via doctor stoppage due to Rodriguez’s swollen left eye. In November of last year, he was honored with both the Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night awards.
He is currently ranked #12 in the official UFC featherweight rankings and has won 11 out of 14 matches. Fun fact: Rodriguez is also a cousin of Olympic boxer Misael Rodriguez.
I was introduced to CBD by a friend whom was using it for its benefits on reducing pain and anxiety. My favorite products can variate but the ones I like the most are the CBD oil and the creams for topical use, like the freeze or the one with arnica and B6.
