Littleman weighs 7 lbs. He
"Littleman weighs 7 lbs. He is over 16 going on 17. He is a very forthright guy. He loves us. He sleeps with us and he shares his nighttime between us. He is very intelligent and alert. He was born with an overly large tongue that he could not retract into his closed jaws. As he got older he would get very excited about family events. He would shriek so loud you had to cover your ears. Very intense. He blew out his esophagus; we were to find out. And now, an old man 105-110, he is blind. But he has a routine with us. We never fail to look out for him. We struggle with his leaving. We tried everything to stop his throat from taking him down. We were told from the beginning of the diagnosis that his days were numbered unless we submitted to a medical procedure costing between $4000-$6000. And we were told that there was no guarantee he would survive the operation! We are both on SS. All we had for him was to comfort him. So, in desperation, we tried you guys. Not even thinking it would work, just to slow his demise. But he has begun sleeping more calmly. Seems more alert. And he has actually become heftier. The stubbornness has not changed, but he seems to be intent on hanging around. Thanks."
