While most CBD oils contain more than a single cannabinoid, the variation in formulas across companies and even different product lines can be considerable. For example, our broad spectrum CBD gummies contain 25 mg of CBD per gummy, while our full spectrum CBD gummies contain 50 mg of CBD per serving, and our Delta 9 THC gummies have about 90 mg of CBD per gummy.

The answer to that question comes down to two factors: the CBD formula used to produce them and what kinds of additional ingredients we added to boost their specific benefits.
Broad Spectrum CBD
Our broad spectrum CBD is our first tried-and-true, ride-or-die formula. Although we offer it in a range of products from topicals to tinctures and other ingestibles, for the purposes of this article we’re going to focus on our broad spectrum CBD formula and how we’ve adapted it to produce a variety of CBD gummies. At the moment, we have our regular CBD gummies, which come in either tropical or sour and our line of CBD wellness gummies.
As the name suggests, this category contains a broad range of the many cannabinoids derived from the Cannabis sativa plant, but not all of them. In fact, our broad spectrum CBD formula is THC-free,* meaning that you don’t need to worry about failing a drug test at work, during competitions, or for other life events.
Full Spectrum CBD
Unlike our original formula, our line of full spectrum CBD products consist of only ingestibles including either gummies, tinctures, or softgels. One step up from our broad spectrum formula, full spectrum CBD includes all cannabinoids, including THC. Even so, we’ve taken strict precautions to make sure that the levels are far below the 0.3 percent THC limit set by the 2018 Farm Bill.
By incorporating a small portion of THC into your CBD wellness routine, you can take better advantage of the entourage effect. Although still present with broad spectrum CBD, by adding THC into the mix you can boost the many benefits you already receive from our THC-free* formula. But because the percentage of THC in the overall product is so low (just over 1 mg of THC), you will likely never feel the typical “high” associated with THC and other marijuana by-products.
However, because the levels of THC can build up in your body over time with continued use, taking full spectrum CBD gummies may lead to a false positive on a drug test. From the THC content alone you can see that there is a clear difference between CBD gummies. For this reason, we recommend sticking with our broad spectrum CBD gummies if you are concerned about possible drug testing in the near future.

Delta 9 THC
Delta 9 gummies, also known as high potency full spectrum gummies, are more expensive than our full spectrum formula. While they both contain a measure of THC, Delta 9 THC gummies are far more potent, containing 10 mg of THC and roughly 90 mg of CBD per gummy. Although you can take a couple of full spectrum CBD gummies throughout the day, because of the strength of our Delta 9 THC gummies, we recommend you take no more than one a day.
And when you compare them with our broad spectrum formula, this is where you really see the difference between CBD gummies. Because while one is THC-free* and will not get you high or result in a failed drug test, the other easily could. Despite the fact that our Delta 9 THC gummies still contain below the federally legal limit of 0.3 percent THC, 10 mg of THC is more than enough to result in a “high” depending on your body composition and various lifestyle factors.
