- 6 Hass avocados, ripe
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed and finely chopped (optional)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
