For example, imagining you are sitting on a beach of soft white sand as the waves gently roll in and a soft breeze blows, carrying the sounds of sea birds as they fly overhead. This type of meditation is often led by a teacher (live or from a recorded session) and encourages you to use all of your senses as you visualize the scene, including sound, smell, and touch.
